For instance, voting "nay" on the Motion to Table S.Amdt. 705 to S.Amdt. 687 to H.R. 1388 (GIVE Act)To prohibit ACORN, or organizations affiliated or co-located with ACORN, from receiving assistance under this Act.


And "nay" on the Amendment S.Amdt. 610 to H.R. 1105 (Omnibus Appropriations Act, 2009)To prohibit funding for congressional earmarks for wasteful and parochial pork projects.

And lest we not forget that he supported the glorious stimulus plan.

Arlen, let's face it. You are a Democrat. You always were. For as long as I lived in PA, I have wondered why you called yourself a Republican. It was one of the great paradoxes of the world.

I'm reading all these web posts that state: "Yeah, Republican party dead! This proves it!!!" Ok, you morons, LISTEN....UP. Arlen is switching parties to SAVE HIS OWN ASS. He knows he is dead in the water in PA. We are fed up with his liberal agenda and not representing his constituents. Now he is going to kiss up to Obama and the Unions (well, even more than before). They have the money and the power right now. All the Republicans have are The People. Let's hope The People prevail.

FOX: TAKING A GREAT THING AND RUNNING IT INTO THE GROUND!!

Can we say, OVERKILL? 3 solid days of tea party and post-tea party coverage. You'd think I'd be thrilled about that. The first day, yep, I was! The second day, I thought, okkkkkkk...the third day....ENOUGH ALREADY!!
I'm sorry but this overkill of coverage made us look like less of a "grassroots, we the people" uprising, and more of a "media-driven, right-wing, Fox/Republican cronies". It took away from our cause, it really did. This was supposed to be about US, the people...and FOX turned it around to promote themselves, making the liberals sneer and snicker even more, reaffirming their suspicions of a "right-wing" protest.
All the more reason to keep politicians OUT of future tea parties. We need to promote these parties as nonpartisan as possible. There were Democrats at these parties, we need to make sure their voices are heard.

LET'S SHOW 'EM!

CNN, the Communist Noise Network, still brushes us off as a "minority" made up of mostly "republicans" and some right-wing plot to "rally the republican party". They also took a poll which said that 48% of Americans feel that taxes are "just right".

First, who the HELL are these people who think taxes are "just right?" I don't know ANYONE who ever said to me, "Oh yeah, my taxes are just fine. I have no problem paying my taxes. It's lovely." PLEASE, WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE??? I want to hear from you!!! Are these the same people who Obama wanted for his cabinet? Oh yeah, they have no problem paying taxes, because hey, THEY DON'T PAY THEM!!!

Second of all, we need to show CNN and all the people in Congress that we mean business and this wasn't just a fluke or the work of a tiny minority. In the history of this country, have you EVER seen mass organizated rallies all over the country like this? This isn't a small fringe group of crazies. THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE turned out around the country, in every state, Democrats and Republicans alike. We aren't rich, hell, I know I'm not. We aren't miltia. I don't consider myself a true Republican, more of a moderate. Rush Limbumgh is not my idol, in fact, I think he's kind of an ass. George Bush wasn't the brightest bulb or the best president. He got us in this mess! Obama is just digging a deeper ditch. And.... I'm NOT, repeat, NOT going to blow up people's homes (like Bill Ayers) or storm the White House.

I just want us to slow down and get some common sense!!! Simple economics, people. Printing all this money (with nothing to back it), and going deeper in debt, what you do think is going to happen? Massive inflation. AND, more taxes. There HAS to be revenue somewhere.

CNN and the liberals who think their taxes are just right or want MORE TAXES (frankly, I think THEY are the crazies!) need to see that we are not just a one shot deal.

Write, call, meet, stay informed. DON'T LOSE THE FIRE!! Eventually, they will have no choice but to hear us.

I am very proud of my country. We had a great turnout! It gives me hope.

It also scares me, because Obama's reaction to this was very arrogant and off-handed. I don't think he cares. Let's hope our Congressmen do, if they want to keep their jobs.

Pittsburghers Unite!

Yep, if anyone reads this or cares, I'm still here. I've been working 12 hour days to gear up for the ginorous amount of taxes and crazy electric bills I'm going to have to pay soon.

Anyway, enough boo-hooing. I'm givin a holler to all my Pittsburgh Area Tea Partiers! I'll be there on April 15 with my homemade "Don't Tread On Me" shirt. (Special thanks to the artist).

This isn't about Republican or Democrat for me. This about the dangers of big government and how they are slowly taking over our lives. Let's give them a message.

Arrogance

We used to be proud of what we are....
Now we are like a insecure kid in high school trying to get into the popular clik.
We will cower, bow, and apologize. Compromising what we are and who we are.
I think we should try to work and get along with everyone. However, I don't apologize for being an American....and I am insulted that our President feels he has to apologize for me.

As far as the other countries hating us....when kids picked on me for my clothes or something else, my mother used to say "They are probably just jealous of you".
